Breaking News: BNP Leadership Expels 15 Defiant Members

Violation of Party Decision: These leaders faced the wrath of the BNP for breaching party discipline and joining the election, despite the party's decision to boycott the January 7 election schedule.

Expulsion: The BNP didn't hold back. It expelled all 15 leaders, including both central and district-level members, from their posts and primary membership. No exceptions.

The Central Eight: Among the expelled, we have former vice chairman Shahjahan Omar, advisory council member Syed AK Ekramuzzaman, and other prominent figures. They took a stand against the party, and the consequences were swift.

The District Seven: The district-level leaders, too, faced the music. Names like Zayedur Rashid Shyamal, Abdul Aziz, and Advocate Hossain Reza Babu are now on the BNP's blacklist.

Party Hopping: Shahjahan Omar didn't waste time. He joined the Awami League and submitted nomination papers for Jhalakathi-1 seat. The Jhalakathi district unit declared him "wanted" on Friday.

BNM Entry: Shah Mohammad Abu Zafar took a different route. He joined the newly registered party BNM, aiming to contest the polls from Faridpur-4 seat.

Stay tuned for more updates as the political landscape heats up!

It was a method of non-violent resistance, and the Ahmedabad Satyagraha was one of the early instances where this method was employed in the Indian independence movement. The Satyagraha in Ahmedabad was a turning point as it marked the beginning of Gandhi's active involvement in Indian politics. It was here that Gandhi first introduced his methodology of peaceful resistance and negotiation as a means to achieve political and social change. The event holds histori...
